Alice Lee So Fong, the founder of “CasaSito”, has lived and traveled in many countries for the last 20 years. In 1999, she started working in developing countries as a volunteer and has participated in many different projects such as house-building, environmental conservation, HIV/AIDS education, and social development.
In 2002, she became member of Mariposa Association of Germany and with their support; she took on the position of financial and coordinator in the day care center "El Buen Samaritano" for poor children in Guatemala .
For 2 years, (June 2003-September 2005), she was also the coordinator for a school building
project in the highlands of Guatemala, volunteering for an Italian association, and in 2006, she was asked to be the Guatemalan agent of Give Kids A Chance Foundation of Canada.
On July 7 of 2004, with her friends Greg Schwendinger and Eric Behrs, she founded "CasaSito Association" in the United States .
